Biography

Ever since she was little, growing up in Salisbury, Maryland, Paige Jansen has been captivated by the notion that by using a camera to freeze memories and experiences into an image forever, she can somehow beat time. This idea had guided her to capture the locations and places she visits, remember fond memories of friends and family, and express her creativity through photography and graphic design. Additionally, Paige is constantly inspired to represent perspectives and stories of individuals and communities through the art that she creates. Photography and graphic design allow her to express important ideals and beliefs, sharing them with others to create a common collective. Paige has a love for the creative process and the joy that comes with creating, as well as the power and voice that design and art can provide.

Paige Jansen is currently earning her undergraduate degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Communications Studies with a double minor in Marketing and Photography. She has had multiple bodies of her work shown in Merion Hall and Boland Hall at Saint Joseph’s University. Her latest work represents a freedom of expression, body, and self for women in the media and fashion photography industries, and will be shown in the Frances M. Maguire Art Museum at Saint Joseph’s University before she graduates in May 2024. Paige will continue to make art and pursue a professional career in creating and designing.
